Relax Blocker — Mindful Break Timer is a Chrome browser extension designed to help users manage screen time and take mindful breaks from websites. This Privacy Policy explains how the extension handles your data — or rather, why it doesn't need to handle any data at all.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever.

The extension stores only the following information — locally on your device, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:

• Your list of blocked websites (e.g. youtube.com)
• Your daily time limit setting (in minutes)
• Your break duration setting (in minutes)
• Today's accumulated usage time (in minutes)
• Today's date (to reset the counter each day)

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced, not uploaded, and not accessible to anyone other than you.

3. Permissions We Use

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions — and here is exactly why:

• storage — to save your settings and usage data locally on your device
• tabs — to detect which website is currently active so we can track time accurately
• scripting — to display the break overlay screen when your limit is reached
• alarms — to check usage time periodically in the background
• host_permissions (<all_urls>) — to inject the break screen on any website you choose to block

None of these permissions are used to collect, read, or transmit any personal information.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit any data to any third party — because we do not collect any data in the first place. There are no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, and no external services involved.

5. Data Storage & Retention

All data is stored locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data is automatically cleared when you uninstall the extension. Usage counters reset automatically every day at midnight. You can also manually reset the counter at any time from the extension popup.

6. Children's Privacy

Relax Blocker — Mindful Break Timer does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, there is no special risk to minors.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will always maintain our core commitment: zero data collection.
